The Crusader Oceanfront Family Resort, Wildwood Crest, NJ

Project Summary

Located beachfront in the heart of Wildwood Crest, The Crusader Oceanfront Family Resort has been a cherished summer tradition for more than 50 years. As part of a major off-season renovation by the Crusader ownership, Broadley’s partnered with the hotel to upgrade 50 in-room HVAC split systems-ensuring modern comfort for guests arriving for the 2026 season.

By leveraging Atlantic City Electric’s Direct Install Program, Broadley’s secured $558,035 in incentives for The Crusader saving our customer 67% in replacement costs while delivering immediate energy savings and long-term operational benefits.

Challenges … and Broadley’s Solution

The Crusader is not alone in expressing that both avoiding service interruption and budget are key challenges, especially when considering this HVAC project was part of a larger renovation.

With 0% five-year program financing available and scheduling the installation to be completed during the off-season with our team working in close collaboration with on-site maintenance, carpentry and painting staff to complete the installation, Broadley’s met the challenges and offered solutions turning this installation into a win-win for The Crusader.
