Replacing A Broken Combi-Boiler  

The homeowners called us 2 days after Christmas. It was a Friday, and they knew that with the holidays some companies may not have normal hours, and they were desperate to have the heating fixed before the following week of more holiday celebrations. We completely understood, and made sure to get a technician out that day to take a look at their system.  

They had a 13 year old combi-boiler that had stopped heating completely. It was a big problem, because not only did they have no heating, but they also had no hot water either! It was extremely inconvenient, and something that needed to be fixed right away.  

The HVAC technician inspected the boiler and gave them a few options. We could repair it, but because the system was 13 years old, there’s a chance that it could break down again easily. They decided to replace their old Rinnai combi-boiler with a brand new Navien combi-boiler and tankless water heater!

After considering the cost of a repair vs a replacement for their boiler, they elected for the replacement. There were a few reasons why they wanted to make the upgrade, instead of putting a band-aid on an old system.
